This three-bed house in Battersea was completely transformed with a side infill extension, loft conversion and full internal refurbishment throughout. The existing kitchen has been expanded to accommodate a large new kitchen and dining space with a large rooflight spanning the entire length of the room to allow light to penetrate deep into the plan. A side dormer at roof level allows for access into the loft space, creating a new master suite at second floor level.
The house sits within a conservation area and has restrictive covenants placed on it. These constraints had to be carefully negotiated as part of the design process.
